ASTOR BLOCK BAIT rodenticide is based on BRODIFACOUM, a 3rd generation anti-coagulant.
The product is extremely potent and a lethal dose is usually consumed IN A SINGLE FEED.
ASTOR BLOCK BAIT rodenticide is effective against all species of rats and mice, including those resistant to other products.
Also conatins a bittering agent (Denatonium Benzoate) that reduces the risk of poisonong for children and non target species.
Instructions for use:
Before laying the bait, the target area should be examined to determine where the rodents are most active. Rat runs, burrows and feeding sites should be identified.
BAITING FOR RATS: Place 3-4 blocks of ASTOR BLOCK BAIT wherever the presence of rodents is noticed. Bait points should be established 5-10 metres apart depending on the level of infestation. Some bait blocks should be place din rat burrows if accessible. Bait should be replenished after 3 days and subsequently every 6-7 days.
BAITING FOR MICE: Place 1 block of ASTOR BLOCK BAIT at 1-2 metre intervals around the site e.g. Farm buildings and warehouses. Replenish at 3 day intervals.
Always place the bait under cover to protect from weather and non target species such as pets and birds.
Use PVC or rubber gloves when handling the bait.
When a proper baiting programme is used, most infestations will be eliminated in 15-20 days.
