Welcome to the MagentaDirect.ie Blog. We're a 100% Irish-owned Agricultural products company based in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford. We created this blog to give Irish Farmers somewhere to find information and news on ourselves, our products and ways they can improve their earnings. We welcome all comments and if you want to submit articles we'll happily print them here.
Hope you enjoy :)
Just a quick post to say a big thank you to all the people who called to our stand at this years National Ploughing Championships.
It was great meeting you all and hope that from the many, many positive comments (and orders!) we received that we'll be able to keep bringing great products at great prices to your door for many years to come!
I'm happy to announce the winners of our free draw are:
Maurice Sheehy, Cork - PortaSCC
Michael Norris, Waterford - PortaSCC
Padraig Butler, Wexford - PortsSCC
Sean Kenneally, Tipperary - Microwipe Weedlicker
Michael Leahy, Limerick - Ivermectin Pour On 5 Ltr
Once again, thanks for dropping in to see us at the ploughing, looking forward to 2013!
The other product we have is Extra-Strong Blue Nitrile Gloves.
These look like your standard blue disposable gloves but the makers asy they are 50% stronger.
Now you'd thing if there were 50% stronger you'd get twice as much use out of them but farmers have been telling us they're getting 4 or 5 times more work out of them before needing to be replaced!
The bad news is these are LIMITED SUPPLY ONLY so if you want them, you'd better order now before they're all snapped up.
We happy to add this great product to our Dairy Hygiene section.
Tobby is one of the strongest hoses on the market.
It's constructed of 5 seperate layers and is designed to prevent kinking of the hose with it's "No Torsion System" so washing down the parlour will be slightly less of a pain!
I know it's a bit of a departure from our standare fare but seeing as so many of our customers are involved in various sports clubs around the country we though this may be of interest!
Speaking of High Cell Counts our other new product will help you with this too.

That's all for this week,
Starting to work on our plans for the National Ploughing Championships!
Well I guess you don't need me to point this out but Summer 2012 has been a wash out so far for most of us.
Like many we're waiting for a break in the clouds to try and grab a bit of silage and then getting drenched in the inevitable downpours.
If it helps we have Flexothane Jackets and Flexothane Trousers available which are breathable and waterproof to help keep you cool and dry while you work.
Some good news is SHOOF have come out with a better priced version of their very popular Tailwell tail trimmers.

This week we're talking about Oxide paint. Now I know we've only had a few days of sunshine but fingers crossed there'll be plenty more before the end of the summer and that's the time to look at your sheds and see if they need some freshening up!
Here at MagentaDirect.ie we've been selling top quality oxide paint for years and with prices due to go raise it's the perfect time to buy.
We have various colours available in 20ltr drums and 200ltr Barrels.
To go with our Oxide Paint from we also have corrugated rollers.
These make the application of the paint much easier when painting corrugated iron and steel.
